This very funny production directed by Neil Armstrong is now in rehearsal and promises to be a great success. Box office opens on 1 March and tickets can either be purchased on line at www.ticketsource.co.uk/emberplayers or by Phone on 07752 655087.
One of our tennis courts will be out of action for a little while!
A large oak tree in a adjacent garden to our club (belonging to one of our long-serving members Val Chicken) fell down of its own accord yesterday and into our tennis courts!
All the branches had already been trimmed off it some years ago after it became diseased so it was not a particularly pretty sight but it was a well known landmark.
The remains of the tree will be removed in the middle of next week but the court surface has been damaged and so court 6 will not be usable until the surface has been repaired and the artificial grass surface relaid.
