Ember Sports Club

Welcome to Ember Sports Club, a privately owned non-commercial club near to Esher railway station and to Sandown Park Racecourse.

The Club was formed in 1935. In 1946 Ember Club Limited was formed to purchase the land used by the club for recreational purposes. The majority of shares in the club are held by Trustees on behalf of members of the Sports Club.

In addition to Croquet, Bowls and Tennis we also have a Drama section and separate Social membership. The total membership is around 500, of which over 75% belong to the sporting sections.

We aim to cater for people of all ages and abilities and our excellent sporting facilities are amongst the best of their type in this area.

The club is convenient for Esher, Claygate, Hinchley Wood, Molesey, Thames Ditton, Long Ditton, Walton on Thames and Surbiton – and we have members from much further afield. We are within easy reach of Kingston upon Thames and all parts of Elmbridge.
