N.B. Members are asked to arrive well in advance of the starting time for all roll-ups and club matches.

Clubnight Mixed Roll-ups:  On these evenings there is usually snack food or fish and chips afterwards. Where other fixtures e.g. Bank Holidays or the Top Eleven match, prevent a Monday evening roll-up from taking place there will be a mixed roll-up held on the Tuesday evening.

Evening League.  We run an internal mixed triples league in the evenings.  The teams are drawn but players are seeded by ability so that the standard should equal out across the teams. There are usually eight teams of six to eight players per side, depending on numbers. This is a good introduction to competitive bowling.

Bank Holiday Mondays.  There is a Mixed Roll-up with prizes arranged for each of the Bank Holiday afternoons starting at 2:30pm.

Club Matches.  Ladies, Men’s and Mixed matches are played against other local clubs. Most of the matches are "friendly" (but competitive). We also play several local clubs in a more competitive spirit in the Racal Decca Mixed League. Details of all the Club's fixtures can be found in the fixture list (CLICK HERE)

External Competitions.  The Club is affilliated to the Surrey County Bowling Association, Surrey County Women's Bowling Association and the North-West Surrey Bowling Association. These associations run a number of competitions for men, ladies and mixed teams which Club Members are entitled to compete in. For more details see the "Competitions" page by CLICKING HERE.

Club Competitions: Entry forms available on notice board. Entries should be sent to the Competition Secretary, together with fees, by 1st May.

The club runs the following competitions during the season:

  • Men's Singles Championship

Club Finals 2010.  These will be played over the weekend of 4th & 5th September to be followed on Monday 6th September by a Ladies v Men "Top Eleven" match.

Captains' Charity Supper.  Hosted by the Men's and Ladies' Captains this evening fundraising event for a local charity will be held following the all-day mixed 2 wood triples club competition on Saturday 21st August.

Dinner and Dance: To celebrate the end of season we hold an annual Dinner and dance towards the end of October. This popular event is often over-subscribed and the dancing is non-competitive.
